All About Labels
On this page is everything you would want to know about honey labelling requirements, getting barcodes and the IBA Tamper Proof Label.
Honey Labelling Requirements
A Honey Labelling Guidance Leaflet was published in July 2018.
It can be accessed here.
IBA Tamper proof Labels
The IBA clg is conscious that beekeepers have many requirements relating to how they label their honey. Our tamper proof label helps to alleviate many problems beekeepers may have when batching and selling their honey.
The label is a food grade tamper proof label that measures 93mm x 33mm.
There is a unique number on each label. This is a huge advantage when batching honey from different apiaries.
There is an option at no extra cost to include the beekeepers own barcode on the tamper proof label. Just let us know on the application form.
Minimum order quantity is 1000 and maximum order quantity is 3000 labels.
Please complete this linked application form and post to Denis O’Sullivan (address on page 3 of form). Tamper Proof Label Application
